A pipe recorded from two sides should appear in one position in the combined point cloud. The same applies to walls, doorways and other features captured in separate runs.
We check how overlapping MLX recordings fit together. Include all the recordings that belong to the survey, and identify any areas where capture was difficult or incomplete. Available overlap affects what can be aligned and checked; knowing the recording conditions helps us assess the work before processing starts.
A repeat recording can fill a gap in a survey, or it can document a later change. Those are different uses of the data. Tell us which recordings belong to the same survey and which come from a later visit.
We agree on how those recordings should be organised for delivery. This helps the team understand what it is looking at and avoids treating a changed installation as an alignment problem. Keep the recording dates and relevant project notes with the supplied data.
If the MLX survey must connect to other project data, supply the required coordinate system and any surveyed control points. These give us a reference for positioning the scan and checking its fit.
Once published in GEORIZON, the indoor recordings can be viewed alongside mobile mapping, aerial imagery or other surveys of the site. The team can inspect the point cloud and panoramas in a browser, while agreed output files support further work in modelling or analysis software.
We charge per m² of processed area. Overlap between recordings is counted once, so a square metre in your project is never charged twice. No mandatory prepayment and no credits that expire. At least 30%, up to 70% cheaper than NavVis IVION Processing, depending on the overlap between your recordings. For repeat visits to the same room, the overlap is counted once.
GEORIZON hosting is specified separately. Tell us about accuracy requirements and delivery deadlines at the outset so the proposal reflects your project, including the reference information and checks needed for the intended use.
