Your CLX data can come straight to us

You do not need to process CLX recordings in IVION before 360GEO can use them. We work from the original device data and prepare the point cloud and panoramic images for delivery. The results can be viewed, measured and shared in GEORIZON. That gives you a processing and viewing workflow independent of NavVis software, while you continue to record with your CLX. We agree on the project requirements before transfer.

Start with the device recordings

Contact us with the CLX model details, a description of the survey and the output you need. We confirm the files required from the device and arrange their transfer.

There is no intermediate IVION export to prepare. Supply the original recordings together with any control points and project notes. Before processing, we agree on the work, its price and the expected delivery date. If you have a specific delivery requirement from a client or modeller, include it at this stage.

Position the scan for the project

A CLX survey may need to align with an existing site survey or other geodata. We establish the required coordinate system and available references before processing. Surveyed control points provide a basis for checking the scan against the project reference.

Tell us what accuracy the job requires. We assess the supplied recordings and control information against that requirement. A scanner specification alone does not establish the absolute accuracy of the delivered dataset; the recording and its reference information also matter.

Put the result in your team’s hands

In GEORIZON, the processed point cloud and panoramas open in a browser. Colleagues can inspect the recorded situation and take measurements, and you can give clients access to the data. A separate GEORIZON licence for each viewer is not required.

You do not need the IVION viewer to use this result. We also agree on file delivery for work outside GEORIZON. That lets you specify what the project team needs for viewing and what a modeller or other recipient needs as files.

GEORIZON as an IVION Core alternative

Use CLX alongside your other equipment

If the project also includes VLX or MLX recordings, those can be processed by 360GEO too. Mobile mapping, aerial imagery and other geodata can be published in the same GEORIZON environment.

Agreeing on the coordinate reference and delivery at the start helps the datasets work together. You can use the CLX for its part of the survey and still give the team one place to consult the results. The processing scope remains specific to each dataset and the work it needs.
