View, measure and share your panoramic imagery in the browser, without an installation or a licence per user, with GDPR blurring and a time series per location.
A panorama in GEORIZON is not a flat image but a capture station: a position along the driven line whose location and orientation are known. You step from station to station along the route, look around the full spherical image and click through to the next point. Because every station is linked to the matching point cloud, the third dimension remains available: you measure a width, a height or a distance to the carriageway directly in the image instead of estimating it. The viewer shows the map with the route travelled alongside the image, so you always know where you are standing and which way you are looking.
Anyone managing assets wants to know not only how something looks now, but what has changed. In GEORIZON, captures of the same location from different years sit side by side in the same frame, so a single click takes you back in time and makes change along a road or railway visible. The same applies to image types: ground level panoramas, oblique aerial capture and orthophotos live in the same environment, so you choose from one interface which perspective best answers the question. Sharing happens through a direct link to an exact viewpoint, which makes an email with a screenshot unnecessary.
Imagery of the public realm almost always contains people and vehicles. GEORIZON blurs faces and number plates automatically before the imagery becomes available, so you work within the GDPR without manual effort on every project. Access is arranged per user or through single sign-on, and an on-premises deployment is possible where the data may not leave your own environment. To use the imagery outside the viewer, connect to the open API or download a selection. Organisations including ProRail (SpoorInBeeld), the municipality of Nijmegen and Kempkes Landmeten work with their imagery this way.
