Measure, share and manage panoramic imagery in the browser: with depth maps, no conversion of your recordings and more efficient storage.
Do you work with Orbit 3DM, or are you looking for another way to publish and measure panoramic imagery? The GEORIZON panorama viewer runs in the browser, works with depth maps, loads your recordings without conversion and stores them more efficiently. The original files are always kept.
With depth maps every panoramic image carries depth information, so you measure distances, widths and heights directly in the image. That makes measuring faster and accessible to colleagues who do not use GIS or point clouds, and it works alongside the linked point cloud when one is available.
Anyone publishing panoramic imagery knows the extra step: converting recordings to a dedicated format before they can be viewed. In GEORIZON you load recordings with a ready-made ingest template per camera type and the original files are always kept. You change provider or recording system without changing your way of working, and the coordinate system follows what the client requires, whichever CRS that is.
Image archives grow quickly, especially when converted copies are kept next to the originals. GEORIZON works with recordings as they are and stores them efficiently, so an archive with several years side by side stays affordable and manageable.
A viewer you install and maintain on your own server needs administration and capacity. GEORIZON runs in the browser and is available to everyone you invite, without a licence per user. Faces and licence plates are blurred automatically for GDPR.
