A Horus system records multiple camera streams, GNSS/INS data and, depending on the configuration, LiDAR in a single synchronised run. Post-processing usually stays inside the Horus chain: Movie Maker for processing, Position Fixer for trajectory correction, Movie Player for inspection and Streetwise for sharing imagery. GEORIZON converts those raw recordings automatically into a uniform, vendor-independent dataset: georeferenced panoramas, point clouds and metadata you can use in any GIS environment.
Horus treats imagery as the primary data source, using high-resolution spherical cameras such as the Teledyne FLIR Ladybug together with an Applanix GNSS/INS for positioning. GEORIZON reads the raw recording, combines the imagery with the position data and delivers equirectangular panoramas with the matching position and orientation metadata. If LiDAR was recorded alongside, we process the point cloud in the same run and colourise it with the imagery. Everything is returned in open, widely supported formats, so your data remains usable outside GEORIZON as well. Your Horus system stays a strong capture sensor, while you decide where the data ends up.
Processing large Horus datasets does not have to take days. The GEORIZON pipeline automates reading, georeferencing, stitching and optimising both imagery and point cloud, followed by noise reduction, structuring and tiling. Optionally we add GDPR blurring of faces and number plates, plus AI object detection or vectorisation of roadside elements. You deliver the recording and typically receive a publishable dataset within 24 hours, without an operator having to sit behind processing software for every project.
Few organisations run a single brand. Alongside Horus, data arrives from other mobile mapping systems, drones, aerial imagery and static scanners. GEORIZON brings those sources together in a dedicated tenant per client, with the same viewer, the same measurement tools and the same API. No per-user licences are required, and publishing runs through the viewer, WMTS, the open API or a download. Clients such as ProRail (SpoorInBeeld), the municipality of Nijmegen and Kempkes Landmeten work with GEORIZON in exactly this way. Where required, we connect the environment to SSO or deploy it on premises.
